Marketing 101 Introduction Marketing 101 Introduction Firstly, let me introduce myself. I'm a (nearly) 48 year old female with more than 35 years in the workforce (yes, I started working at age 13!). With a Bachelor of Science in Management/Marketing, and more than 25 years in the sales 'kingdom', I've gleaned a little bit of information that may be of help to anyone who is seeking to learn a bit more about the wild, wooly world of marketing. This intro, which I'm calling Marketing 101, is my creation. Although I've shared many of these ideas before, from participation in other forums, this is the first time that I've decided to write everything down in a cohesive manner. My goal is to help others learn more about the real world of sales, marketing and business. And you may find that the 'real world' is somewhat different from that ideal situation found in marketing and business textbooks. Over the next few months, I hope to thoroughly explore such things as customer loyalty, salesmanship, wholesale, promotion, display, advertising and much more. Thanks for your time and attention.
